Free version of AVG contains only basic protection, AVG Antivirus 2012
is also with basic protection + download protection but it costs $39.99
for 1 year subscription and AVG Internet Security 2012 is with full
features against cost of $54.99 for 1 year subscription.
We previously posted about the way of activating AVG Internet Security 2011 with full features till 2018.
But, now, with the release of AVG Internet Security 2012 users are
anxious to upgrade to AVG Internet Security 2012 but it is available for
30 day trial for free.
Solution for Activating AVG Internet Security 2012
Like before, AVG Internet Security 2012
can also be activated with full features till 2018. All you have to do
is follow the features:
- Install AVG Internet Security 2012 Trial which you can download from here
- Or If you have installed the previous version of AVG Internet Security 2011 you can upgrade to AVG Internet Security 2012 by downloading the trial version which you can find in the first point.
- During installation you would be asked to enter the License code which you can find here
- If you are upgrading from AVG Internet Security 2011 then you would be upgraded automatically. Just don’t change the code specified when you are activating from AVG Internet Security 2011with activation till 2018.
Note: If you are upgrading from AVG
Internet Security 2011 then you should have validation till 2018
activated otherwise your 2012 version of AVG would not be activated till
2018.
If you have not activated your AVG
Internet Security 2011 then you should do it first then you would be
able to validate 2012 version of AVG till 2018. The code and way of

Use the below given steps to activate AVG Internet Security 2012 as the above steps might not work for some users.Steps:
- Install AVG Internet Security 2012 Trial which you can download from here
- During installation you would be asked to enter the License code. Use the default code provided by AVG.
- After the downloading and installation have finished. Open up AVG Interface
- Update it with latest definition
- Now, go here and follow the steps and enter the code provided.
- If done properly, your AVG Internet Security 2012 would be activated till 2018.
